Jessie Hillock, M.A. SLP, CDP
Hi, I'm Jessie! Owner and founder at The Memory Compass.
With over 11 years as a professional within the dementia care space, a master’s in communication sciences and disorders with an area of specialty in executive function decline of neurodegenerative disorders, I’ve worked directly with families in their homes and communities, not just in clinical settings. I know how to provide the practical, personalized strategies you need—not generic advice that leaves you guessing. Through my clinical work, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming and isolating the dementia journey can feel for families. That’s why I created The Memory Compass in 2019: to complement the care families receive through traditional healthcare while addressing the gaps in support and guidance that often leave care partners feeling uncertain and alone. My goal is to provide the compassionate, practical strategies families need to navigate this journey with confidence and clarity.
If I'm not working with clients, presenting in my community, or researching all things dementia and brain health, then you can find me enjoying time with my family or daydreaming about travel and interior design projects.
